Public Economics Taxation
An introduction to the Canadian tax system and the theoretical foundations necessary for evaluating tax policy. The course focuses on the effect of various tax policies on economic growth, output, and the distribution of income. The theoretical tools learned in the course are used to assess various Canadian tax policies.
Prerequisites: EC260 or EC270.
